Hard to be patient...anxious to see/build/ride the BadgerCX. Been spinning the 29er some but mostly on the pavement these days. With rain, high river and these unseasonably warm temps not much local trail riding.
Holiday food has been dangerous.

How many bikes do you have Anne? Is the 29er all it is cracked up to be?
Riding a 29er is like being a kid all over again. Compared to a hardtail 26, the 29 is WAY more comfortable. Much like riding a CX bike on the trail the 29er rolls better. On a CX or 29er in the woods I can pull away from riders on 26 mtbs that I can't drop on the road. The 29er, at least this filet-brazed steel Badger rides more like a full sus 26. Comfy, fun and quick.
The 'bike rack' tends to flucuate. But at the moment all three disciplines are represented.
How about you?
Maybe I will give a 29er a go and see what I think. I don't really mtb anymore though. As for me, I have 3 road bikes (1 is being built now) and two mtbs. Probably about 3 more than I need. haha
Your Eriksen CX needs an Eriksen 29er to hang out with.
