Been thinking yet again of stopping this blog thing. Maybe at some point moving it over to a small web site or not. There is sort of a community thing, the circle of bloggers you keep up with via reading the blog vs email or phone. But it all takes time.

NOO, absolutely not. If you shut this thing down how will I spy on you?
E-mail? Remote sentinels?
I'm trying to jetison this nasty cold thing so I can get back to some good training!
As soon as you get over it let me know. You, Toni and I are due for some riding on icy roads!
Sure thing. We haven't gone on a repeat of the ice ride of last year! Might still have time. Will be a couple of weeks though.
Looks like you've been on some long cold rides!
I think it's a generational thing - you and I remember too much, and we're beginning to forget.
LOL, so are you saying we blog so we can go back later and read what we forgot?
So...you on for Cohutta?
I think I'm starting to get over the 10 day sore throat/cold thing! Just in time for a good block of training.
you are a rare species - a local racer blogger woman. don't let them go extinct!
I am on for Cohutta. Accomodations look a little shaky - not much in the way of a 'formal' reservation process at the place I am staying. Sort of feeling a little potential for a 'Deliverance' experience on that one.
R - True, there aren't too many of us about in this area. Maybe I'll stick with it. Give it a bit more time.
A - I'll make the call a bit closer to event. Means I many have to sleep in the van eh? Now THAT could be a bit harsh on these 'old' bones.
Keep me posted if you end up going - I can always kick Matt to the curb if you need space. At any rate hotel floors are a lot better than van floors!
Don't let Rachel put too much pressure on you - darned youngsters.
I may not decide until about two weeks prior. If the field is full...decision will be made, eh?
Thanks!
True...maybe I should go into stealth mode and hope to surprise her?
First we need to make sure she doesn't learn anymore time-saving tips (like laundry am/pm on a regular basis). Rachel: back to the river, a rock, some soap. One piece at a time. NO time left to train.
Oh Anne, you don't know me well enough. Just because my laundry is caught up does NOT mean I am on my bike. I can think of 2,038 reasons to not ride my bike on any given day - just ask Andy; he relies on me to back out of our training rides.
Geez, I thought I was the only one that has been repeatedly bailing on Thursdays. Maybe I'll make one yet.
Glad to hear your motivation is easily swayed. I need all the advantage I can find to see if I can stay in the same lap with you this year ; )
